To support each client in achieving meaningful, lasting change, priority booking is kindly offered to those who are able to attend regular weekly sessions—especially during the early stages of therapy. The first 12 weeks are a crucial foundation for building
Weekly sessions help create the consistency your brain needs to form new neural pathways as the foundation for changing habits and thought patterns. This approach is supported by neuroscience and psychology and tends to yield the most positive and long-term results.
For new clients, one-off or occasional sessions aren’t typically offered, as regular attendance is essential for lasting progress. If you’ve previously completed a full course of therapy with me and are looking to book a maintenance session, you’re always very welcome to get in touch.
Why Programmes Work Best
Real, lasting change takes time and consistency. Just as you wouldn’t expect a six-pack from going to the gym once or twice, healing and personal growth also require regular effort. For this reason, priority booking is offered to clients attending weekly sessions, especially early in therapy. Clients who commit to a programme of 12 sessions tend to find that this is the sweet spot for sustainable lasting change, depending on the individual, some less, some slightly more. you lay the foundation for creating new neural pathways, forming healthier habits, shifting old patterns, and making meaningful progress—step by step. My programmes offer the structure and continuity needed to help you achieve lasting results and build the life you truly want.
Session Options: Online & In-Person
Many of my clients choose online video call sessions, which are flexible, convenient, and just as effective as in-person therapy. Working from the comfort of your own space can support deeper emotional work, and there's no travel time to worry about.
However, for those who feel more comfortable working face-to-face, I also offer in-person sessions at my Bristol practice - address provided upon consultation.
