Clinical Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy and EMDR
Evidence-based therapy for deep healing and lasting transformation

Because creating real change is an inside-out job.

I am Emma, a Clinical Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist and Personal Performance Coach who also practices EMDR. Using my combined approach of hypnotherapy and EMDR, I specialise in empowering individuals to overcome challenges such as self-love deficits, lack of direction, overwhelm, unhelpful habits, and phobias. Hypnosis is powerful at addressing immediate concerns, while EMDR enables us to uncover and heal deeper, entrenched issues such as trauma, PTSD, and C-PTSD.

I specialise in working with and empowering women to overcome challenges, embrace their true potential, and live authentic, fulfilling lives.

👁️ Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Healing Complex Trauma and Emotional Distress
As a trained EMDR Practitioner, I provide EMDR therapy to help individuals process and heal from deep or complex trauma. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to reprocess distressing memories and reduce emotional triggers, easing the impact of past trauma on your present life. Each session is tailored to your unique needs following a thorough consultation. EMDR can also be combined with any additional hypnotherapy/psychotherapy that may be indicated during a session, offering a fully integrative approach to healing and personal growth.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a comprehensive, evidence-based psychological therapy designed to reduce the impact of negative thought patterns while enhancing more adaptive, positive ways of thinking. It is particularly effective for those recovering from trauma, PTSD, and C-PTSD, including emotional or physical abuse, sexual trauma, and other distressing experiences that continue to affect present-day emotions and behaviours.

  • EMDR works by helping the brain naturally reprocess unresolved or unprocessed memories, reducing their emotional charge and shifting how past events are perceived. Many clients find EMDR to be a straightforward, empowering process that often brings results more quickly than traditional talk therapy. While every journey is unique, many people experience significant improvement in just a short series of sessions.

First developed by Francine Shapiro and researched in 1988, EMDR has since been widely recognised and supported by clinical research. It is recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) in the UK (since 2004) and by the World Health Organization (WHO) as one of the most effective treatments for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in adults.

Through EMDR, you can safely reprocess painful or limiting memories, allowing for healthier emotional responses, more balance, and freedom in the present. It is a powerful tool for creating deep, lasting change.
